Uncle Harold Adamson, the songwriter had an uncle Ernest Martin who married Flo Adamson. Ernest Martin worked on first talking movie Don Juan as Chief Engineer for Vitaphone and Vitagraph. Ernest was also the Chief Camera Engineer on several Rudolph Valentino movies. Ernest photo is the Adamson Brother's Invention "Lastex."

On Feb. 11, 2006 Harold Adamson was honored by Jazz pianist Eric Reed at the Kennedy Center (Washington D.C.) in honor of Hal's 100th year of his birth. Cousin E. Adamson said Eric Reed did a subperb job of playing Hal's tunes. Eric Reed gave Bruce Adamson credit twice during the cermonies for help amd on a video Our Pal Hal.
